CITY 105.1 FM RELOCATES

City 105.1 FM, one of the vibrant radio stations in Lagos, has relocated to a new ultra-modern building. The station had earlier been on Billings Way, Oregun, Lagos, but relocated to the ever busy Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos in the early days in the month of April 2014.

The new office sitting on a plot is a storey building, branded with the official colours of the company (orange and black). According to our findings, the organisation relocated due to expansion. The new facility has more offices, studios, a mast, two stand-by 600 KVA generators and an expansive car park.

In order to sensitize their listeners, clients and associates concerning the new development, CITY FM launched a jingle shortly after they had settled down at the new office. The jingle titled, “Commander-In-Chief” is about a military-like mission of a pilot trying to locate the vibrant station at its former office, but was redirected to the new place on Lateef Jakande Road.

Since the relocation, the radio station has started to expand its programmes in order to maximize the utilities at the new complex.

City 105.1fm is an urban music variety station that targets the upwardly mobile community in Lagos, Nigeria and the rest of the world, reflecting the unique lifestyles of Lagos residents.
