DSC_9782How are you feeling today?

I am the happiest person on earth today.

How would you describe your husband?

Philip is a sweet guy.  He’s loving, caring and he is everything a woman can dream of in a man.  I am delighted, I got married to him.

For how long did you date?

Two years.

Why did you agree to marry him?

I considered all we’ve been through together and the fact that he’s a Christian and he has a free spirit.  All those qualities endeared me to him and I realized that there is no other person I can spend the rest of my life with apart from him.

‘She is a perfect woman’

What kind of woman is your wife?

She is a wonderful woman.  Aminat is a perfect woman in all ways.  She will make a perfect mother because she is a perfect friend.

Tell us your love story.

Let me just say we’ve been together for a very long time.  She’s been my best friend for a long time.  We started with the usual friendship and as time went on, our friendship grew into love and today, we’re married.

What are your expectations from the union?

I look forward to her carrying my baby and for us to have a great family together.

I am delighted for my little sister.  I wish my late father were around because she’s one of his favourites.  We are happy she chose someone we can all be proud of.

Your advice to the couple?

They love each other.  They should respect themselves and continue to harmonise the love. You can see the joy in both of them.  They’ve known themselves for so long and they’re like brother and sister.  Aminat will make an excellent mother and sister.

It is indeed a very good thing to see a good boy getting married.

What kind of man is he?

He is a very determined man.  He is a honest and hard working boy and I know he is going to be successful.

A word of advice for the couple?

My advice is for them to fear God and follow His ways. With hard work, they’ll achieve all they want.

‘He is the baby of the house’

–          Gloria Ibizube, groom’s sister

How do you feel today?

I feel wonderful.  I am the eldest sister, the mother is late and he’s my father’s last child, so he’s my son.

DSC_98161How would you describe the groom?

He is a honest boy who likes to struggle on his own to make it and he is the baby of the house so we all pamper him.

Your advice for the couple?

They should make God the foundation of the marriage and have patience.  They can use me as an example. I have a successful home so he can’t come to me and say I’m sorry I want to pick another woman. I would not take it.
