THE General Overseer of Fountain of Life Church, Pastor Daniel Taiwo Odukoya, is inching towards fatherhood again. His newly wedded South African wife, Oluwafeyikemi Rosemary Simangele Zulu (now Odukoya), is pregnant –and according to our findings, she will put to bed towards the end of 2010.
“Pastor’s wife is expecting her first child. In fact, she is currently in her second trimester, meaning that before the year runs out, she will give pastor another child,” divulged a source.
ENCOMIUM Weekly also gathered that the pretty woman has added flesh in the necessary places and has equally slowed down her activities because of the seed growing in her. Often seen now in flowing robes, free dresses and low heel shoes, she has started preparing for motherhood.
Pastor Taiwo Odukoya was swept off his feet when he met Rosemary Simangele Zulu, a South African, during one of his ministerial engagements in London, at Pastor Clem Esomewei’s church, four years after he lost his delectable wife, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, in the ill-fated Sosoliso plane crash in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on December 10, 2005.
The baritone-voiced minister of God announced to his congregation that he was taking another leap into the marriage institution on Sunday, December 27, 2009, during one of their services. Though he kept the date a top secret until few church members and respected men of God from other denominations received text messages and invitation cards inviting them to the wedding.
According to the easy going pastor, he met and courted his new wife for two years before marching down the aisle with her on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Prior to that, however, there were speculations that one Dupe Kazeem, a staunch member of the church, would replace Pastor Bimbo. Which later turned out to be mere rumour.
The wedding took place at The Civic Centre, Ozumba Mbadiwe Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. They were joined in holy matrimony by Bishop Mike Okonkwo, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM).
But the ceremony had in attendance other very popular and respected preachers like Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, Apostle Anselm Madubuko and a host of others. A thanksgiving later held at the Ilupeju headquarters of the church where members were entertained with light refreshment. The couple embarked on a two-week honeymoon to the United States of America. Ever since, Pastor Taiwo has not stopped dotting on his beloved wife. His previous marriage produced three children: Tolu, Jimi and Tobi.
Tolu has graduated from Oral Roberts University and is now doing her doctorate degree in the United States. Jimi is also a graduate of Ora Roberts University in America and Tobi is currently schooling for her first degree abroad.
