ENCOMIUM Weekly gathered that half of the P-Square parked the car inside her compound and on the bonnet of the wonder-on-the-wheel was a bunch of beautiful rose flowers and love card with the inscription, Please, Say Yes‘. Lola, we learnt, was still in surprise, but didn’t hesitate to say, Yes to Peter, who presented her a diamond ring and followed with a kiss.

All effort to speak with the duo proved abortive. Peter couldn’t be able to speak with us when we visited him on Friday, August 9, 2013. A representative who attended to ENCOMIUM Weekly said, “Peter is of course happy with the development but he cannot attend to you now because he’s very busy in the studio and I can’t really say when he would be chanced.”

Peter Okoye has never denied his love for Lola since they kicked-off their relationship eight years ago. He confirmed his love for her in a recent exclusive with ENCOMIUM Weekly where he said he had plan of getting married to her when it’s time.

“Lola is my girl friend and the mother of my children. At the moment, I will say she is my best friend, a wonderful woman, there is no doubt about that. We’ve not had any quarrel since I met her.”

He spoke further, “The truth is that she’s the woman in my life right now because she’s the mother of my children. She’s a wonderful woman, very understanding person.”

Peter appreciated the role Lola is playing in the lives of his children. He said, “My son is adorable, the only thin that’s keeping me moving…and thanks to the mother for being there and I am convinced that he has learnt good things from his mother.”

With this development, the time is now for the father of two children to bid bachelorhood farewell.
HOW THEIR LOVE BEGAN

Peter and Lola’s romance started in 2005. Recalling how it all began, Lola told an evening newspaper, “I worked for an advertising company called FKG2 and spent about five years there. We did a lot of things and it was interesting, that was where I met Peter actually. One of our clients, British American Tobacco (BAT) and P-Square were doing something on Benson & Hedges then. We were on a road show together. “When I met him, he was just trying to build himself and I was very proud of him. I have a lot of respect for him, his talent and I saw that he had a vision. Peter doesn’t get intimidated by anything; in fact, he supports and encourages me all the time. I think he’s happy that he doesn’t have to do everything; he can rely on me that I will take care of our kids.”
