…Dammy Krane, Orezi, Reminisce billed to perform
Coca-Cola’s youth-centric music platform, Coke Studio is set to storm Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ife (Osun) this weekend with rave of the moment artistes, Dammy Krane, Orezi and Reminisce.
The second season of the Coke Studio Concert tour which kicked off in September 2014, has swept through the campuses of Lagos State Polytechnic, University of Benin, Abia State University and University of Lagos, parading some of Nigeria’s biggest music artistes.
Brand Manager, Colas, Coca-Cola Nigeria and the Coke Studio Project Manager, Olufemi Ashipa, described the concert experience as astounding. “It has been an exciting tour.
The concerts are a new dimension we introduced for this season of Coke Studio and so far, they have been a resounding success judging by the level of participation and the enthusiastic responses experienced at the different campuses”, he said
Ashipa added that interested members of the campus community, who would like a chance to perform live on stage with the music stars, can do so during the concert by buying a bottle of Coke, liking Coca-Cola on Facebook and coming out to enjoy good music.
Through its one of a kind music platform, Coke Studio, Coca-Cola is bringing to Africa a unique blend of music through fusion of genres, songs and styles of popular music acts across the continent. Berthed in 2013 in Africa, the Coke Studio has become a huge success in other parts of the world including the Middle East and Asia.
