Encomium
Sunday, April 10,2016, was a memorable day in the life of star actress cum film maker, Folashade Omoniyi-Adewale, popularly addressed as Lepa Shandy, as she celebrated her birthday and premiered a new movie, Eri Ife Leyi (Evidence of Love).
The event which also featured an award segment held at De Blue Roof, LTV 8, Agidingbi, Alausa,Ikeja,Lagos, and it was well attended, especially by the colleagues of the talented thespian.
However, the event started behind schedule. The current fuel scarcity was said to be responsible for its late take off.
Among the dignitaries who graced the occasion were former Lagos first Lady, Dame Abimbola Fashola, a couple of law makers and traditional rulers. Lepa Shandy’s colleagues, including Iya Awero, Hakeem Rahman, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Nike Peller, Deji Etiwe, Sunday Adewale, Kemi Ogunbiyi, Liz Idowu, Esther Igbekele and others were also not left out.
The extremely happy and excited celebrant was on hand to ensure all went well. Fuji lyricist, Shefiu Alao was on the band.
