The superlative wedding of Cosmas Maduka,Jnr and Temi Odutola, on Saturday, July 11,2015, in Lagos surpassed its billing – and nestled as one of the most lavish and enjoyable, with the young couple beginning matrimony with a colourful and glamorous event many can’t stop talking about.
From the venues to decor, assemblage of high society big wigs to the display of state of the art cars, class was in enormous doses. And at the end of it all, the nuptials settled as one of the most exciting.
The church gave an inkling of what should be expected. The Chapel of Healing Cross, Idi Araba (Lagos) venue paraded new models of Range Rover and BMW, with the couple arriving in a white Rolls Royce Ghost 2. The marque set hearts aflutter as many looked in wonderment as Cosmas and Temi stepped out from the car.
At the reception, the red wonder on wheels, a special Jaguar F Type coupe, reported to be one of ten manufactured, appeared on stage as the highlight of the nuptials. The lovely couple made their appearance at the Grand Ballroom of Oriental Hotel (Lagos) that beautiful afternoon in the eye-catching automobile with a soft black top.
The billionaire father of the groom, one of the leading figures in automobile business in Nigeria, with franchises of Rolls Royce and Range Rover, among many luxury brands, showed all who was king of the industry.
The wedding, which attracted the cream of high society including the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, Orange Drugs’ Sir Tony Ezenna and Ekulo’s Ikenga Ichi Emma Bishop Okonkwo, was a colourful event with many classy episodes.
