No, I don’t think so. People still spend heavy money on their wedding. They still make huge budget depending on their capacity.

To what extent, can you explain?

We have different categories of clients. Some will insist they cannot afford a certain amount. For those who want to do a society wedding, they don’t mind a huge budget. They will even spend more because they will like to impress some of their guests. They will want to set the standard that others will follow. Such will want their wedding featured on Bellanaija.

How have you been able to deliver quality service despite tight budget?

A very good venture will stick to quality. Such will not compromise. They will deliver, regardless of the budget because they have a name to protect. I wouldn’t compromise as well. I will still use my tested and trusted vendors for such service.

It depends on your income really and how much you want to spend on your wedding. People are still spending heavily and enjoying themselves.

Lagosians love parties. They wouldn’t spare anything to organize one. All fingers are not equal. While some are complaining, some are planning an elaborate event.

To what extent, can you explain?

It depends on the capacity of the celebrant. There are clients who will insist it is a once in a life time event. They will spend all they have. While some other ones will cut down their budget.

How have you been able to deliver quality service despite tight budget?

It is also about choice. Once an event planner knows what she is doing, she will work with whatever budget she has.

From my own perspective, the economic situation of the country is in no way affecting weddings.

To what extent, can you explain?

A lot of people still stage flamboyant weddings. Some travel abroad for shopping. Some spend more than N10 million to stage a wedding. It all depends on their financial status. If you are capable of staging an elaborate wedding, you can go for it.

How have you been able to deliver quality service despite tight budget?

It is all about experience and organization. Once a service provider has that, such a person will stage a quality event on the budget he or she has.
