Court extends Seun Egbeegbe’s remand order

Seun Egbeegbe, suspected scammer accused of attempting to swindle $9,000 and£3,000 from two bureau de change operators on Thursday, February 2, 2017, is still in custody of Lagos Police Command.

The music and movie promoter along with his accomplice (Ayodele Oyekan) spent the weekend in detention.  And now their remand order has been extended today (Monday, February 6) by the courts.
When we contacted the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, she confirmed to encomium.ng that the suspects are still detained.
At 6:05, she replied us: “He’s still in custody.  The Command got the consent of the court for his continued detention so as to allow extensive investigation since he’s an habitual suspect.”
Set for court on Wednesday, February 8, in the theft of nine iPhone handsets case of November 22, 2016, Egbeegbe is becoming a serial suspect.
