SENATOR Daisy Danjuma’s first son, Yuki Ehime Omenai and his lover, Moriam Omobolanle Rotimi, sealed their long romance with a fairy tale wedding in far away Marbella, Spain on Saturday, May 10, 2014.
The couple were joined in holy matrimony inside General T. Y. Danjuma’s plush home Marbella in style with the high and mighty from Nigeria and elsewhere flown into town for the ceremony.
The beautiful city of Marbella stood still for the wedding described by those who attended as classy and strictly by invite. This ceremony is coming just eight months after the couple staged their engagement in Lagos which attracted a full list of the high society.
The Saturday, May 10, 2014 wedding of Yuki and Moriam Omenai lived up to its billing as one of the most glamorous and expensive in recent times. The couple exchanged marital vows with the supervision of Nigerian clergy flown to Spain for the ceremony. After that, the entertainment part of the ceremony started.
Yuki dazzled in a lovely cream suit with a black shirt while the very pregnant Moriam Omobolanle shone brilliantly in a floor sweeping lace white wedding gown.
Faces at the ceremony included businessman, Terry Waya, Musa Danjuma, Bashorun Dele Momodu and others.
Both Yuki and Moriam are said to be long time lovers. They met during their school days abroad. The groom, Yuki Omenai is from Senator Daisy Danjuma’s first marriage to Mr. Henry Omenai, the first Nigerian Executive Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). He presently lives in London after he recuperated from the shock 
he suffered from a helicopter crash 20 years ago.
Just as the Marbella, Spain wedding of Yuki and Moriam Omenai attracted society bigwigs, their engagement in Lagos is still being talked about in the social circle. Held on Saturday, September 28, 2013, at the Expo Hall, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, the Danjumas didn’t spare any cost for the wedding which had in attendance men of class and affluence. There were Edo State governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Senate President, David Mark, Lagos State First Lady, Dame Abimbola Fashola, Senator Annie Okonkwo, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, Agbani Darego, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Mr. Herbert Wigwe and others.
ABOUT DANJUMA’S HOME IN SPAIN
The Danjumas’ sprawling mansion in Marbella, Spain where the Yuki and Moriam Omenai wedding held had in 2012 played host to the glitterati who flew in from Nigeria for Senator Daisy Danjuma’s 60th birthday. The house is planted in the municipality area of Southern Spain belonging to the Province of Malaga. Marbella is on the Mediterranean Sea between Malaga and Gibraltar Strait.
