Daughter confirms Molade Okoya Thomas’ passage, ‘We give God thanks’

Hon. Jumoke Okoya-Thomas has confirmed the death of her father, the legendary businessman and socialite, Chief Molade Okoya-Thomas, the Asoju Oba of Lagos.

The former House of Representatives member admitted that the ebulient man of colours passed on in the early hours of Monday, February 2, 2015.

Chief Okoya-Thomas, born on June 8, 1935, would have been 80 this year.

We gathered that he just returned from a medical check-up a few days back – and died at his Sinari Adaranijo, Victoria Island (Lagos) home peacefully.
