The 2015 MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) may have come and gone, but the thrills, excitement and breathtaking performances will live long.
The award recognizes and celebrates artistes who have distinguished themselves in the art of making music across the African continent.
This year’s edition held in South Africa, precisely at the Durban International Convention Centre in Kwa Zulu Natal saw 17 awards carted home, with Nigeria recording another dominant outing.
Seven of the 17 awards were won by Nigerian artistes; Gobe crooner, Davido was one of them after he clinched the Best Male Artiste award ahead of Tanzania’s Diamond, Ghana’s Sarkodie, South African rapper AKA and Wizkid of Nigeria.
