Dayo Adeneye polls 70 votes, winner Ojuri clinches APC Ogun Assembly ticket with 280 votes

Broadcaster and record label boss, Dayo Adeneye, popularly known as D1, lost the Odogbolu constituency ticket in today’s (December 2) All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries as he polled  70 votes.

Polling 280 votes, Adebowale Ojuri was declared the flag-bearer of the party in the constituency.

Many had mooted that the media mogul would clinch the ticket, but it was not to be as APC delegates in the Ogun state constituency favoured Ojuri, a special assistant to Governor Amosun.

Another aspirant from Ososa polled about 100 votes.
