Nigerian music star D’banj last weekend won the 2015 MTV Evolution award at the MTV Africa Music Awards held at the International Conference Center in Durban, South Africa.
While receiving the award, the 35-year-old singer gave props to his estranged producer, Don Jazzy which came as a pleasant surprise to many present. According to him, his success would not have been possible but for the support of Don Jazzy, ‘This award is dedicated to D’banj and Don Jazzy’ he screamed as he received the plaque
Until their fall out in 2012, the two were popular for the many hit tracks they made together.
