Taxify said this is the first time a complaint has been made another this driver…the more you people push this story the more it falls apart…. She should open the app and show us the trip that he had with this guy.

There’s no justification for the driver to take her anywhere aside where she wanted to go!! Even if she misbehaved, her details are on their records most especially as she said she could only pay by card. She’ll blacklisted from future Taxify cabs, but he had no right to divert

The taxify issue don’t look like rape to me, from the video, it seems the driver just wanted his keys without being pepper sprayed.

Because I watch too much CI and Discovery ID, I do not believe the lady’s story of the Taxify saga. I’m sure something ugly transpired between her and the driver, but NEVER attempted kidnap nor rape. Over to you @PoliceNG, please make public the findings of the investigation.

Gone thru the stories of both sides. The Taxify driver is not a rapist neither is he a kidnapper. I think its a case of mere misunderstanding. The event took place in the middle of the night and both parties were scared and their judgements were clouded.

This is the one part I fault the taxify driver, he should have taken her back to the pick up point, call the person who requested for the trip, to get her out of his car. That said, and based on the video, I dont beleive, he didn’t attempt to rape or kidnap her

The whole Dorcas case is very dicey. In the last video, the Taxify driver seemed very scared especially when he called her a ritualist. We are pretty sure Dorcas did not just make up that story. Rape is a very sensitive issue. This matter has to be taken up.
