Weddings come every day, but once in a while, a wedding comes that sticks in the memory and becomes a subject of nostalgia. They are weddings of great beauty and a celebration of frank, untainted love. Come Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Catholic Church of Divine Mercy off Admiralty way in Lekki Phase-1, one such weddings, made by the fairies will take place. It will be the holy tying of the nuptials between Dr. Tochi Umunnakwe and Mr. Chidi Nwankwo.
Beautiful Tochi, a medical doctor by training and a perfect combination of beauty and brains was the epitome of lady virtues and like an unreachable fruit at the peak of the tree. But suddenly there emerged the handsome knight in shining armour in the person of Mr. Chidi Nwankwo and beautiful Dr. Tochi’s heart was taken for good.
Both parents have since given their consents, because destiny cannot be changed. So on Saturday, the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bartholomew Umunnakwe, will be on hand to give their daughter into the safe hands of Mr. Chidi, while the satisfied groom’s parents Chief and Mrs. Clement Nwankwo (Ezedioranma) will smile on in the front pews, in total gladness.
Thereafter, the whole congregation of friends, family and well-wishers will be treated to a great banquet at the reception which follows immediately.
We wish Dr. Tochi and Mr. Chidi a happy married life.
