Duchess of Cambridge, Kate’s former police officer to sue the Met for racism

A police constable who used to guard Kate Middleton – now the Duchess of Cambridge – is suing the London metropolitan police over racial discrimination.

Disgruntled Ricky Haruna claims she was fired from the office after complaining about racism and has now launched a case for harassment and wrongful dismissal, alleging that a colleague called her a n*****.

The allegations are among a number of claims which have now been submitted to an employment tribunal after she was sacked from the Met in June, earlier this year.
