-Unveils new lover

On Thursday, February 25, 2016, Afro-pop singer, Taiwo Elizabeth Olapeju, better addressed as Eazy Lizzy staged the maiden edition of her Bosslady Seminar, and it was well attended.

The highly educative and informative programme aimed at re-orientating teenage secondary school girls attracted participants from 21 secondary schools from different parts of Lagos state. The event also attracted dignitaries from all walks of life, including entertainment, politicos, high society and more.

ENCOMIUM Weekly had a chat with the Oyo born entertainer on the success of the event and more…

How would you describe today’s event?

Fantastic! I give God the glory, honour and adoration. Indeed, it’s a success. I thank God for that.

Would you say the purpose for the seminar was achieved?

Yes, it was because the turnout was massive. And my target audience were secondary school girls who are teenagers. They came out en masse to be part of the programme. So, I have achieved my target. I am very grateful to God about that.

How many schools were represented at the event?

I had students from 21 schools from different parts of Lagos state. And I am very sure they all gained one or two things that would shape their lives forever which was the main reason the Bosslady Seminar was organized.

A word for your special guests and all the attendees of today’s programme?

First, I must say a big thank you to the General Manager, Eko FM/Radio Lagos, Ms. Funke Moore for her support because without a venue, no event would hold.

Giving us the venue for the event was the first thing that really encouraged me to forge ahead. So, I want to use this medium to say thank you to her. God will continue to be with her in all her endeavours. Also, I need to say a big thank you to His Excellency, Lagos state governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode. He has been a mentor. I am very grateful to him. Also his wife, Mrs. Ambode for her support. She was ably represented. I thank her a lot. I am also indebted to all the special guests at the event, including Ngozi, Morayo Afolabi-Brown, Sedi Temitope, Mercy Aigbe, Ayo Joseph and many more. I say thanks so much to them all. I am also grateful to Eko FM and LTV 8 generally for their support.

This is the maiden edition of Bosslady Seminar, is there any area where you think needs an improvement against the next edition?

Definitely, there must be areas of improvement being the first edition. I saw some lapses but I thank God I was able to overcome them. I am not the type that dwell on challenges, rather I will want to stay focused so that I can move forward.

How supportive is your man concerning this programme?

He’s really supportive. I am sincerely grateful to him.

Can you unveil his identity now or you still want to keep it under wraps?

(Laughs) Anyway, he’s Prince Kola Afolabi.

What does he do for a living?

He deals in cars. He’s the CEO of Kashmal Motors.

Can you tell us more about him? How you met and all that?

No, not now, sir. Let’s keep the rest till the appropriate time.
