Ebola: Sierra Leone orders total lockdown to contain virus

Ebola-ravaged Sierra Leone is set to impose a four-day nationwide lockdown in a bid to contain the spread of the deadly virus.

This much was revealed by Mr. Ben Kargbo, a presidential adviser on the country’s ebola task force, who said citizens will not be allowed to leave their homes between September 18 and 21.

Speaking to Reuters, he said: “The aggressive approach is necessary to deal with the spread of Ebola once and for all.”
