An American doctor, who contracted the Ebola disease while working with patients in Liberia, has admitted that he is “terrified” of the disease.
In an email he sent to friend and colleague – David McRay – he said, “I’m praying fervently that God will help me survive this disease”.
The Texan-trained doctor is fighting for his own life in an isolation unit in Liberia’s capital – Monrovia – after contracting the deadly disease while treating Ebola patients.
