The United States of America (USA) has recorded its first case of Ebola as a man falls ill in Texas, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has confirmed.
According to a CDC spokesman, the patient became infected in Liberia before he flew to Texas; he is now being treated in isolation at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, Dallas.
The man arrived in Texas on September 20 on a family visit.
