It is so simple – patience, tolerance and understanding and most important, my faith in God.

How long have you been married?

It will be seven years in December.

How have you been able to cope with your husband’s busy schedule and challenges that come with your work?

Seriously, it has not been easy, marriage has its ups and downs. Getting married to an entertainer is really challenging. You have to close your eyes and ears to a lot of things. If you are not strong, it will definitely shake you.

A lot of people assume a lot but if you want to have peace of mind, find something to do, get busy.

What is your advice to other women out there?

Shut your ears and eyes to a lot of things. Don’t allow a third party in your home. Note that no two marriages are the same. Find something doing, an idle mind is the devil’s workshop. Always communicate with your husband. The first four years of our marriage wasn’t easy, he was never at home because of his job. I had to learn how things work in that terrain. I also learnt how to focus on his good part. My husband was such a good man, so, that was my focus. Don’t listen to what people say, don’t try to change your husband, don’t go to his phone, don’t assume. Engage yourself in positive things that will benefit you and your family.
