Entrepreneurs give six months appraisal of their businesses (2)

As the first half of the year 2014 winds up, entrepreneurs are divided over how business has been good to them. Some said they made a lot of headway business-wise in this period, while others are yet to come to terms with their target.

This is how the few entrepreneurs ENCOMIUM Weekly spoke to assessed the first half of 2014 and projected for the remaining half of the year…

Things have been moving fine since the beginning of this year. We thank God for His grace. But at the same time, things could have been better if the government had provided an enabling environment for business to thrive.

Actually, not all my targets were met but we need to thank God for taking us this far. My projection for the second half of 2014 is to expand my business frontier by pumping in more money and concentrate on imported items.

January to June hasn’t been that bad, business wise. We thank and bless God for everything. Though, at a time, things were a bit slow. I can’t say all my targets were met because human wants are insatiable, and I won’t also say I haven’t. It all depends on the situation you find yourself.

At times, you can plan A and B, and C will crop up. But still, there is every reason to thank God unless you’re an ingrate.

I intend to expand Glitters and Glamour. Also, I want to expand my profit target beyond the regular one. And I believe this would be achievable before the end of the second half of 2014. I think going beyond regular profit margin should be everybody’s dream as well.

In assessing the year, we must take cognizance of the fact that the operating environment has been quite challenging. We haven’t met our target.  Business would definitely be better at the end of the year.

God has been good. There are the high and low points but God saw us through. No, we are still pushing on. To do more jobs, make new friends and make more money.

In this first six months of the year I would say Susan Chanel Skin Care Line has done well and there is room for more improvements and growth. Success is a collective work, myself and my team are working tirelessly to ensure the success and growth of the business. God is faithful to us and will forever be faithful.

To an extent I have achieved something but not all. By God’s special grace everything on my wish list will be ticked. To aim higher, be better at what I do, more and more customer satisfaction, nationwide recognition.

I would say we have not done bad for ourselves in the first half of 2014. We could do better but I’m also surprised at what we have accomplished already. There are some targets yet unmet but we continue to work towards our goals. Along the line we even met some targets we never imagined we would.

To be able to demand a certain structure from clients and to work towards achieving our set goals. We expect greater pioneering work and even more financial rewards. We are very optimistic about our goals.
