ENTREPRENEURS SCORE BUHARI’S THREE MONTHS IN OFFICE

Saturday, August 29, 2015, was exactly three months President Muhammadu Buhari took over the mantle of leadership of this country from former President Goodluck Jonathan. And he has since been on the watch of many Nigerians.

Entrepreneurs ENCOMIUM Weekly sought their views on Buhari’s journey so far have passed their assessments but they all asked for more from him…

There has been stability in the proper monitoring of imported goods. We record more profit now because, we don’t spend on fuel again. Power supply has been consistent. People tend to buy more because there has been steady flow of income in the country.

I will like him to work more on the resuscitation of our moribund industries and establishment of new ones. Most especially, production companies so as to break the barrier of monopolies.

I can’t access Buhari’s administration yet as regards its impact on any business. I have not really made any headway since May 29, 2015, till date. I believe it’s too early assessing Buhari’s administration as regards business development.

Left to me, things have not really moved forward. We’re only implying that maybe after appointing his ministers, there will be more money in circulation and business will then move forward. I have not been able to record any remarkable sale since.

Ever After

I would say considering the time he has been in office, there have been a lot of significant changes. And what I would want him do is to continue the way he’s going. I believe things will turn out a lot better for the common man. Even the power sector has improved lately.

As the situation of my business is right now, I can’t really say I have felt the impact of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration. The administration is yet to have what is called policy direction and that has been affecting most of us business owners. He may be trying his best presently in the aspect of anti-corruption crusade but it should not end there.

We need free flow of cash so that businesses can thrive. His three months so far has not affected my business positively, I only hope things will be better.
