The video of the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo singing the hymn, ‘O God, Our Help in Ages Past’, composed by William Croft (1708), alongside past leaders – General Yakubu Gowon (rtd), Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Chief Ernest Shonekan, General Oladipo Diya (rtd), Commodore Ebitu Ukiwe (rtd) and Dr. Alex Ekwueme – is the source of excitement.
It was good to see Oladipo Diya again. The ”Oh God our help in ages past’ part should be personal to him. God saved him from Abacha’s plot.
