FACEBOOK LOVER UPDATE: The suspect was released after the autopsy report of the deceased – POLICE

 

Recounting the story of Adekemi Faboro, the facebook lover, who died on Sunday, March 15, 2015, after meeting with her married facebook boyfriend, Mr. Ezekiel Christopher (father of two children).

Mr. Ezekiel resides at 8, Orelope Street, Ibadan (Oyo). He was with Adekemi Faboro at her 5, Folorunsho Street, off Ajayi Road, Ogba, Lagos apartment, when she started coughing severely at mid night. The situation got out of hand, her co-tenants suspected foul play and rushed her to Ifako General Hospital where she died.

Mr. Ezekiel Christopher was subsequently apprehended at Pen Cinema Police station. At the time ENCOMIUM Weekly contacted the Lagos PPRO, Mr. Kenneth Nwosu, he confirmed the incident but said he had nothing to say about the case, that the case had been transferred to State Criminal Investigative Division, Panti, Yaba, Lagos.

ENCOMIUM Weekly visited Panti on March 27, and the officer that was in-charge of the case said autopsy had confirmed that the victim died of natural causes, as a result of hypertension and other related disease. That the suspect would soon be set free because he didn’t kill the deceased.

On May 22, ENCOMIUM Weekly visited Panti to confirm the release of the suspect, Mr. Ezekiel Christopher. According to the officer who revealed to ENCOMIUM Weekly the autopsy result of the deceases as a natural cause (CSP Iyamah Dan) said, the suspect was released some days after the autopsy report.
