–               Plot August 1 white wedding

+ Dad silent on his absence

TEMITOPE, the daughter of Chief Femi Fani-Kayode who tied the knot -the traditional way-with her lover, Jaiye Randle,  son of Bashorun J. K. Randle, has picked August 1, 2015 as their wedding day, a family source has revealed to ENCOMIUM Weekly.

We also learnt that the couple have since returned to their UK base where they are staging the extravagant white wedding not many would be privileged to attend.

Meanwhile, father of the bride and former Minister of Aviation Chief Femi- Fani Kayode has kept mum on why he was absent at his daughter’s wedding.  He also didn’t want to be drawn into the controversy trailing the situation where some publications tagged Mr. Wada Dahiru Wada, the husband of his ex-wife (Yemisi) as the ‘father of the bride’ at the traditional wedding ceremony.

femi-fani-kayode2The spokesman of the defunct PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation didn’t take our repeated phone calls on Sunday and Monday, July 12 and 13, 2015.

He also didn’t reply our SMS drawing his attention to the afore-mentioned issues.

“Good morning, Sir.  ENCOMIUM Weekly wants know why you didn’t attend the wedding of your daughter, Remilekun Adetokunbo Temitope.  Did you regret the fact that Yemisi Wada’s husband, Mr. Dahiru Wada was tagged, the bride’s father at the occasion in some publications.  Have you congratulated her?” our unreplied SMS read.

The bride’s mom, Mrs. Yemisi Wada also said she would only be available for an interview later this week.

The families of Bashorun Jaiye Kofolaran Randle, Fani-Kayode and Mrs. Oluyemisi Wada were on Sunday, July 5, 2015 united in love as their son, Jaiye and daughter, Temitope tied the knot the traditional way.

The wedding ceremonies which attracted eminent Nigerians including Forbes Billionaire, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, Chief (Mrs.) Nike Akande, Chief (Mrs.) Oprah Benson, Mrs. Ajoke Murtala Muhammed, among others, was held at the Imperial-Coliseum, Providence Road, Lekki, Phase 1, Lagos.

Jaiye and Temitope met in London where they kicked off their romance which has culminated in marriage after a couple of years.

Beautiful Temitope and dashing Jaiye are from prominent families.  The Randles are influential Lagosians, while the bride’s grandfather was a minister in the First Republic.  Temi’s father is also a very controversial politician.
