‘I have no business with Saidi Balogun again,’ she explodes
CONTRARY to the tale making the rounds in the industry, pretty actress, Fathia Balogun, has denied quarrelling with her colleague, Funke Adesiyan over her alleged romance with her estranged hubby, Saidi Balogun.
Speaking further with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Friday, August 20, 2010, the versatile role interpreter expressed dismay over the tale. She also labelled those behind it as not only jobless and wicked.
“How would I descend so low to the extent of fighting Funke? Over what? In the first instance, she is my junior colleague and she respects me a lot. We are not that close, we only met at Toyin Aimakhu’s location and there was nothing like that between us. I don’t want to know whether she is dating Saidi or not. What is even my own business with that? After all, I don’t have any business with Saidi again. Those who are giving you such information also believe you need something to write, may be that is why they are feeding you with baseless rumour,” she fumed.
We also reached out to Funke on the allegation, here is what she told us, “My brother, I am not interested in that kind of stuff now. What interests me is business that will fetch me big money. Please, help me tell those feeding you with wrong information about me to introduce me to a clean business that will bring money to me, not that kind of senseless talk. I don’t have time for that.”
