Femi Segun, who died on Friday, March 21, 2014, at Lagos State Teaching Hospital, following complications from a motor cycle accident, will likely be buried on Friday, March 28, 2014, Encomium Weekly authoritatively gathered from family sources.

A service of songs is expected to be staged on Thursday, March 27.

However, details of the venue of the ceremonies have not been decided.

The polyglot (who speaks many European languages) was involved in a power bike accident at Lekki Scheme I, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Friday, March 14, 2014. He reportedly suffered spinal cord, head and leg injuries.

He was first moved to St. Nicolas Hospital, Onikan, Lagos, before he was transferred to LASUTH.

Once married to Yeni Kuti, Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s first child, he later wedded Bisi, a judge in Lagos.

Femi Segun left behind his mother, legendary writer, Mabel Segun, and his daughters, Rolari and Fikemi.

Eulogies have flooded the land following the death of the amiable gentleman reputed to be the ultimate master of ceremonies…
