Festus Odimegwu resigns as National Population Commission Chairman

Festus Odimegwu, chairman of National Population Commission, has resigned!

The technocrat who presided over the affairs of Nigerian Breweries Plc as its Managing Director for many years, resigned the Federal Government appointment, with primary goal of conducting a credible census, this afternoon.

We gathered that President Goodluck Jonathan has accepted Eze Festus Boniface Oha Odimegwu’s resignation in good faith.

Meanwhile, the businessman (born on August 7, 1953 in Aba, Abia State) is said to be away abroad.
