Few weeks after burial, members return to Ajanaku’s church + Wife finally reclaims hubby’s property

FEW weeks after her husband’s burial, late Prophect Ajanaku’s widow, Joy, has reclaimed total control of hubby’s property and church is gradually picking up. Information available to ENCOMIUM Weekly revealed that shortly after the burial of the late prophet, some of the members who left in the midst of the controversy have returned to the ministry. According to our source, “Most of the members who were feeble minded left the ministry en masse due to the myriads of controversies trailing the death and burial of the Ajanaku. Most of them were lured out of the ministry because of the rumour that occultists came to visit and buried him secretly. This was also fuelled by the refusal of the wife to bury him until eleven months after. But it was a great shock to them when they witnessed the colourful burial of the late prophet. Some of them joined in the public procession within and around Ipaja/Command axis of Lagos State. And the following Sunday the church witnessed a considerable growth in the dwindling number of worshippers.” We gathered the ministry has grown to over a 100 worshippers now and that the delectable widow is overseeing the church administration. Meanwhile, we also gathered that she has finally reclaimed her husband’s property such as lands, Lagos house and few cars. And due to the backing of the church elders, she was able to win over her ravaging in-laws citing that his properties belong to the church. Consequently, we gathered that the family members have decided to lie low for a while. The whole palaver began on Sunday, August 18, 2013, when it was reported that the controversial clergy passed on, on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at Gbongan, Osun state. Few hours later, it was announced that he had resurrected. ENCOMIUM Weekly later gathered that his church members brought his corpse to Lagos and started a vigil, praying for his resurrection. However, on Thursday, August 22, 2013, he was certified dead by a team of medical doctors. His corpse was deposited at the Military Hospital, Yaba, Lagos, on Friday, August 25, 2013. While the family members knew their son was dead, the church members still held on to the belief that he only went on a spiritual exercise before he was finally interred on Thursday,  July 17, 2014. –               FEMI OYEWALE
