NATIONWIDE AUDITIONS BEGIN FOR MISS CURVY 2014
The maiden edition of Miss Curvy 2014 is already screening, courtesy of Thick African Fab, a modelling, fashion and entertainment company that desires to mould thick curves into A-list personalities.
The organizers of the beauty pageant billed to hold in the last week of May 2014, are currently planning and mobilizing for the nationwide auditions, which kicks-off March and April, respectively.
According to the boss of Thick African Fab and prime mover of the pageant, Choice Hinkelmann, aka JJ, the concept is borne out of the zeal to promote the plus-size and give opportunities to every curve size individual to have a sense of self-confidence as well as stature in the fashion industry.
To register for Miss Curvy 2014, JJ said, one has to visit www.thickafricanfab.com for all necessary information.
The size of participants, we were also told, must be from 12-32. Apart from taking into consideration the fashion need of the plus sized, the pageant will also promote the fight against diabetes.
“For the first time in Nigeria, there will be curvy, vivacious and charming plus size queens in this year’s huge fashion contest. The eventual winner and runners-up will be hugely rewarded with car and cash prizes alongside a mouth-watering one year working contract,” Hinkelmann said.
