First Call: Echiejile eats out

Super Eagles player, Elderson Uwa Echiejile is in town. We spotted the football star last Tuesday night at the eatery section of D’Place.

Echiejile was accompanied by two friends. He was later, that same night, sighted at intercontinental Hotel where he probably lodged.

Echiejile, 27, is a top Nigerian defender. Now playing for Monaco, he featured in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Building materials merchant, Yomi Olajide has resumed work after his mother’s burial. When we passed one of his outlets in the Onipanu area of Lagos, we noticed fresh delivery of all types of building materials.

AURA REMAINS SHUT!

Those hoping that rested Aura Lounge would soon re-open are in for a shock. The owners have begun yet another round of demolition and renovation which has been going on for about a year now.

Insiders say Aura would likely remain shut until the end of the year.
