On Sunday, January 3, 2016, epitome of gentlemanliness, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos state got roughened. His convoy was driving through Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, to link Lekki and there was this mother of all traffic gridlock. He couldn’t stand it. As soon as he found out that the bottleneck was caused by an illegal bus stop and the Oando Filling Station on that same road, he ordered that the Oando Filling Station be shut with immediate effect while the illegal bus stop barricaded.
The traffic gridlock stretched up to the Falomo Shopping Centre, Ikoyi, Lagos. Armed policemen were quickly detailed to patrol areas affected to ease traffic.

He parked his black Range Rover jeep in the premises as he supervised the painting of the 3-storey building. He also attended to one or two things in the premises before he drove off.

He jokingly said on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, when his family were about to fly off that they were relocating to open their eyes to the American way.

Azuh Francis chartered a boat for a picnic at Tarkwa Bay. The team left at about 1pm and returned at 7pm.

They were in three boats. We were there until they departed.
