First Call: Julius de Genius Agwu dines at D’Place Restaurant

A-list comedian, Julius de Genius Agwu, who recently survived a brain surgery in the United States of America, was at D’Place by Papas Restaurant in the night of Monday, October 26, 2015. He was with three other business guys.

He sat comfortably, while one of his guys ordered rice, asun and fish for him.

After all said and done, Julius Agwu and his three guys jumped into his black G-Wagon and drove off.

SAHEETO SMALL CHOPS RENOVATES

Mr. Saheed Kekere-Ekun, famously known as Saheeto Small Chops, who commissioned his plaza on Lewis Street, Lagos, last year is renovating the structure.

Spotted masons and bricklayers patching parts of the building on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. It was a very light job.

 

SHINA RAMBO AND B-RED CHILL AT D’PLACE

On Friday, October 20, 2015, at about 2am, Shina Rambo and his cousin, B-Red, both artistes on Davido’s record label, HKN, stormed D’Place by Papas nightclub.

They arrived the house of jollification in a convoy of four exotic cars, a Posche, customized Range Rover Sport jeep, Prado jeep and a Mercedes Benz jeep.

They rocked the club to the hilt till about 4:15am when they stepped out, gave some money to the club’s security operatives and zoomed off into the early morning darkness.

 

MIKEL OBI’S MANAGER, JOHN SHITTU CALLS AT D’PLACE BY PAPAS

Chelsea Football Club of England striker, Mikel Obi’s manager, John Shittu was at D’Place by Papas, on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at about 1:40am.

He arrived the fun house in a black G-Wagon Mercedes Benz jeep with registration number APP 01 JS.

He left at exactly 4:30am after a good time.

 

PRINCE SOLA ONIRU SPOTTED ON ADMIRALTY WAY

Prince Sola Oniru, son of Oba Idowu Oniru of Iru-Land was seen in the night of Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Lekki, Lagos, discussing with some friends on Admiralty Way, while he parked his jeep at a car park nearby.

Prince Sola Oniru was neck deep in that discussion for about 45 minutes.

 

DON JAZZY AND CREW AT D’PLACE BY PAPAS

On Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at exactly 2:10am, A-list music maker, Don Jazzy and five of his crew stormed D’Place by Papas.

Surprisingly, Don Jazzy didn’t drink nor ate for the whole hour he was in the club. As he was leaving with his crew, he gave N30,000 to his personal bouncer to share among those who deserved it.

The bouncer gave N1,000 apiece to staffers of the club and they left in a convoy of four exotic jeeps.

 

TOYO BADMUS COMMISSIONS FOUR BEACH BARS AT IBESHE BEACH

Marine engineer, Toyo Badmus, who has a big jetty on the Marina Waterways, Lagos Island, has commissioned four beach bars at Ibeshe Beach.

That was in the afternoon of Sunday, October 25, 2015. During the ceremonies, two of the beach bars went on lease for two years to some expatiates from MRS Oil Company.

The other two were said to be for visitors and patrons. We heard it from the grapevine that the 2-year lease attracted some cool N5 million.

 

EMEKA ODOGWU BACK FROM THE US

Mr. Emeka Odogwu, Managing Director of S.I.O Property, who travelled to Uncle Sam’s Land (USA) two weeks ago, is back home.

He landed on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Spotted the astute businessman on Thursday afternoon driving into his office in his blue tinted Landrover jeep with concealed registration plate.

 

MEGA PLAZA RENTS TRANSIT FLATS FOR MANAGERS

The management of Mega Plaza, led by Mr. Alon Nelken, an Israeli, has rented three detached buildings near Mega Plaza for their managers.

This is to save them the pains of uneasy transportation, and traffic gridlock of Lagos.

We have it on good authority that the apartments are sort of transit camps so that the managers could go back to their respective families during weekends.

The property, we gathered, is owned by the late Raymond Njoku family.

 

AMBASSADOR GREG MBADIWE IMPORTS 3 SPEED BOATS

Ambassador Greg Mbadiwe, Nigeria’s former Ambassador to Germany, has imported three speed boats from the United States of America.

On Tuesday, October 27, 2015, spotted the three boats in front of the Mbadiwes mansion on Idowu Martin Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The water crafts are yet to be unwrapped and carefully parked by the roadside.

 

SOJ REWANE AT ADENIJI ADELE LICENSE OFFICE

On Thursday, October 29, 2015, at about 3pm, sighted Mr. SOJ Rewane, at Adeniji Adele, Victoria Island, Lagos license office being attended to by an official.

Mr. SOJ is grandson of late politician and activist, Chief Alfred Rewane.

The younger Rewane drove to the license office in a black Range Rover jeep 2015 model.
