On Friday, July 17, 2015, former governor of Jigawa state, Saminu Turaki was hosted by Sharp Band, at The Bay Lounge.
The former governor was there with his wife and some friends. They danced to the music of Sharp Band at the end, the former governor was given a gift and birthday card by the leader of the band.
CONDO CROONER, YCEEE SPOTTED AT THE AIRPORT
It has been a very busy moment for talented hip hop act, Oludamilade Alejo, otherwise known as Ycee, as the Condo crooner is moving from one event to the other. Just a couple of days back, he released his new single, Jagaban, opened for D’Banj at a Ciroc event in South Africa and attended the prestigious MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs) also held in Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa few days ago.
Ycee was on Saturday, July 18, 2015, spotted at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, alongside his record label CEO, Tinny of Tinny Entertainment, on their arrival from South Africa.
DJ JIMMY JATT IN A RUSH FOR BUSINESS MEETING
On Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at 4pm, spotted DJ Jimmy Jatt in his green Range Rover jeep. His ride was glittering. He was on Admiralty Way to meet a business friend who was waiting for him.
The meeting lasted for about 45 minutes.

Iredia Asemota, son of Chief Sunny Asemota of Sunny Motors was spotted on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at about 11am driving the latest Benz S550 with tinted glasses.

In the afternoon of Tuesday, July 21, 2015, late Baba Aladura’s house on Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos was being given a facelift.

2Face Idibia is gradually becoming regular at Club Papas. Just a week or two ago, he was at the fun house. On the night of Wednesday, July 22, 2015, he was at the club in a black Range Rover jeep.
He left the club house at 4am.
PAWPAW PLAYS TAP SOCCER AT FUN TURF
On Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at about 9pm, actor Pawpaw (Osita Iheme) was spotted at Lekki Fun Turf, popularly known as playground of millionaires. He was actually playing football. At about 12:50am, the game ended and they all moved to D’Place restaurant for refreshment.
He came in a grey Highlander jeep.
BLD RESTAURANT BOSS AT PAPAS
Owner of newly opened BLD Restaurant on Admiralty Way, Lekki, Lagos, Elvis Opaleke and two of his brothers were at D’Place by Papas on Saturday, July 18, 2015.
They left the club at 4:10am.
OLUGBON BRAITHWAITE RELOCATES TO UK
Mr. Olugbon Braithwaite, son of late insurance guru, Talabi Adebayo Braithwaite has relocated to the UK. He was in Nigeria briefly after the death of his father.
DEDE MABIAKU REAPPEARS AT CLUB PAPAS
After a very long break, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s protégé, Dede Mabiaku was spotted driving into D’Place by Papas in a Lincoln jeep at about 7am all alone.
As he strolled into the club, he was joined by one time Fela’s shekere man, Kasim. They emptied a virgin bottle of Remy-Martin brandy before they parted.
FOOTBALLER UCHE OKECHUKWU CALLS AT CLUB PAPAS
On Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at about 1:15am, Europe based footballer, Uche Okechukwu and one of his siblings were driven in a hired green Toyota Camry car into D’Place by Papas. Initially the car was not allowed into the premises as a law against hired cars, but on spotting Uche Okechukwu at the owners corner of the car, the law was bended.
At 4:05am, Okechukwu, was walked to the car by Frank Okamigbo, the frontman of D’Place by Papas and the driver zoomed off. A guest at the club joked that the movement was coded.
SHINA PELLER RENOVATES QUILOX NITECLUB
Owner of Quilox nightclub on Ozumba Mbadiwe Road, Victoria Island, Lagos, Shina Peller, who shut down the jollification joint for the Ramadan, has begun construction of a staircase from the ground floor to the VIP section.
We heard from the grapevine that Shina Peller has down-sized the staff strength, leaving just two staffers in each department. As the old hands were sacked, fresh hands were being recruited to resume work in August when the renovation would have been completed.
