Uti Nwachukwu and four of his friends stormed D’Place by Papas at about 2am. They rocked until about 4:25am. Two of Nwachukwu’s friends sneaked into the restaurant downstairs for take-away food packs.
They came in a Highlander jeep which Uti Nwachukwu drove.
TUNJI BRAITHWAITE GALLOPS TO 82
Octogenarian and indefatigable social commentator, Dr. Tunji Braithwaite was said to have codedly celebrated his 82nd birthday in his Elias Close, Victoria Island, Lagos palatial mansion.
Only close family members and friends were at the come and chop. All the activities were held inside the ship shaped edifice.
Sumptuous food, international and local with champagne to wash down was the order of the day.

It’s joy inexplicable in the home of Engineer Babalola Oduyoye and the reason is not far-fetched. His darling and lovely wife has just delivered a baby boy. That is just a tip of the iceberg for those that may not have known Engineer Oduyoye’s immediate family.
The koko of the matter is that Mr. & Mrs. Babalola Oduyoye have four beautiful girls and therefore no heir apparent according to the tradition and customs of this part of the world.
Today, Engineer Babalola Oduyoye can beat his chest with utmost pride that he’s a full fledged man with the heir apparent in the house.
XCAPE AND BANK NIGHT CLUB IN COLLABO AT ABUJA
The managements of Xcape and Bank nightclub staged a collabo at Bank’s Abuja hangout on Sunday, September 27, 2015.
For now, Xcape is undergoing renovation, little wonder they had to use this opportunity to stage a joint deal with the Abuja Bank Club before they slip into irrelevance. Nigerians switch with ease because of impatience.
We have it on good authority that the show was a banger. Epitome of gentlemanliness, 2Face Idibia was in the house, so were Abuja bigger boys, Umar, Alex Cole and others.
VERNANT OMIGIE HOLED IN TRAFFIC GRIDLOCK
Mr. Vernant Omigie, President of Miss Commonwealth Beauty Pageant in Nigeria, was spotted on Tuesday, September 24, 2015 at about 3:45pm in a black Prado jeep.
He was holed in a light traffic gridlock. He sat beside his driver with legs crossed and busy with his mobile phone.
All through the traffic gridlock, he never raised his head. He was neck-deep into whatever he must have been doing with the handset until it loosened up and zoomed off.
DEWUNMI OGUNSANYA RENOVATES QUEEN’S DRIVE MANSION
Mr. Dewunmi Ogunsanya, Chairman, Multichoice Nigeria, has began total renovation of his mansion in Queen’s Drive, Ikoyi, Lagos. The mansion is called ULE UYEMI, which means my mother’s house in Yoruba.
When we visited the place on Tuesday, September 29, 2015, we sighted artisans mounting and coupling iron rods to accelerate climbing, building and civil engineering works.
With the number of workers there and materials on ground, the renovation will be completed in record time.
AFOLABI OLATUNJI AND SISTER, BIMBO CHILL AT D’PLACE BY PAPAS
Mr. Afolabi Olatunji, co-owner of Preston and Porter Clothing outlet for upwardly mobile dudes in highbrow Lekki, Lagos, who was abroad for some weeks, flew into the country on Monday, September 28, 2015.
Spotted the six footer, fondly called Folly at D’Place by Papas, Lekki, Lagos, on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. He drove into the club in a white Prado jeep 2015 model.
Together with his sister, Bimbo, they arrived the club at about 1am and left at about 4am not without dashing out some N1,000 notes to some hangers-on.
WOLE SOYINKA MOVES OUT OF LAGOS ABODE
Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka has moved out of his Elias Close, Victoria Island, Lagos residence for another place still on the Island. This movement was sometime last week.
He was on Elias Close, Victoria Island, Lagos, for about seven unbroken years. Professor Wole Soyinka was easily identified by his silver Mercedes Benz ML jeep.
WIZKID UNCOMFORTABLE AT COVA NIGHTCLUB
On Sunday, September 27, 2015, at about 12:10am, sighted dancehall entertainer, Wizkid driving into the car park of Cova nightclub on the fourth floor (penthouse) of Mega Plaza Shopping Mall, Idowu Martin Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. He was ushered into the lift to the club.
Because the place was jam-packed as it is every Sunday night, he was uncomfortable. All he could do was to quickly take some pictures with some guys and babes for about 15 minutes before he stepped out with some friends.
SKALES ROCKS D’PLACE BY PAPAS
On Wednesday, September 30, 2015, at about 1:45am, music maker, Skales drove into D’Place by Papas nightclub, Lekki, Lagos, in his black Ford jeep with customized registration number, SKALES.
He alighted from the jeep with three other guys and pranced into the club.
They took their leave at about 3:20am. That was Nigeria’s 55th independence anniversary day.
Sighted Skales giving the security operatives N1,000 crisp notes at the car park before he drove off.
YINKA ADEDEJI ACQUIRES N6.2 MILLION DOUBLE ENGINE BOAT
Engineer Yinka Adedeji was spotted at Toyo Jetty on Queen’s Drive, Ikoyi, Lagos, on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. He was at the jetty to inspect three boats on display for sale.
He said he needed something good for his family and of course himself.
He eventually settled for the one with a price tag of N6.2 million, made in Japan with double engine.
OLUGBON BRAITHWAITE CALLS AT LICENSING OFFICE
On Thursday, October 1, 2015, spotted Mr. Olugbon Banky Braithwaite at the Lagos State Licensing Office, Sura, Adeniji Adele, Lagos.
Banky Braithwaite is the son of late insurance guru, who died some years ago. We have it on good authority that he was at the licensing office to renew his driver’s license. This was around 3:15pm.
