Retired but not tired veteran broadcaster, Mr. Soni Irabor, has moved his office at Okesuna Street, Lagos, to Raymond Njoku Street, S/W, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Spotted the ageless husband of publisher of Genevieve magazine, Betty Irabor driving out of his new office in his grey LR4 Landrover jeep in the afternoon of Monday, May 25, 2015.

 

FRANK OKAMIGBO BACK FROM ABUJA

D’Place by Papas, Lekki, Lagos head honcho, Frank Okamigbo was in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja on Friday, May 29, 2015, during the Presidential Inauguration.

Frank Okamigbo equally took time out to attend another event at Aramis Restaurant & Club owned by Bioye Ayoku, son of late casino and restaurant giant, Solomon Ayoku.

 

FEMI KUKU BEATS FUEL SCARCITY

Femi Kuku, whose billionaire father, Chief Bayo Kuku died early this year, was spotted at about 4:30am on Monday, May 25, 2015, on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. Femi Kuku was very busy filling diesel into some drums in a Hilux pickup van he drove into the service station. He was not even mindful of who may be watching.

We have it on good authority that any moment from now, the A-class hangout, D’Place by Papas, Lekki, Lagos, will begin to receive a facelift.

For sure, the renovation doesn’t mean the citadel of relaxation and enjoyment would be shut. Skeletal services would still be going on.

The astute businessman was in Europe to procure solar energy equipment which is his specialization. He was away for three weeks.

He was in the fun house for less than 30 minutes. As soon as he came out, he walked straight to his glittering black Benz, stepped in and sped off.

BLD, a new restaurant and bar, has just been opened on Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase I, Lagos. The jollification spot was commissioned on Sunday, May 24, 2015. We shall unveil the name of the owner of the new eatery next week.

 

CHIGOZIE DOZIE AT PAPAS

Chigozie Dozie, son of Chief Dozie, Chairman, Diamond Bank Plc, was spotted at D’Place by Papas, Lekki, Lagos, on Wednesday, May 22, 2015 night. Chigozie Dozie was alone.

The surprise that night was that the camera carrying hunk was without one. He simply kept to himself.

Managing Director of Newscafe at Shoprite, Lekki, Lagos, Femi Akande, was sighted at the Mega Plaza shopping mall in the evening of Tuesday, May 26, 2015. He was at the Idowu Martins Street, Lagos outlet to pick some items. He was discussing with a friend when we walked away.

Project Capable is designed to offer young people of secondary school age the opportunity of self-discovery through programmes and life coaching sessions specially designed for these purposes. The idea is to adopt carefully selected celebrities and youth advocates as vehicle of social change thereby  motivating, inspiring and educating several young Nigerians who look up to them.

Waje, Seyi Law and Mannie will be speaking at this year’s event to educate several young Nigerians of secondary school age. The programme is scheduled to hold on Wednesday June 10, 2015, at the Adeyemi Bero Hall, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja by 10a.m, with an expected 2,000 secondary school students from both public and private schools in Lagos state. The theme for this year’s edition is YES! – Young, Empowered & Succeeding. Cowbell Milk and Indomie are partnering for the successful hosting of the programme this year

Project Capable is endorsed and approved by the Lagos State Ministry of Education.

According to the team leader and project coordinator Esther Ijewere-Kalejaiye, “Our aim is to directly influence the lives of teenagers by being part of their growth through out-of-class educative programmes and to make the role of celebrities and youth advocates more useful in their everyday contribution to the growth of the nation’s teenager by sustaining them as behavioral and attitudinal change agents.”
