MR. Folorunsho Folarin-Coker, the Managing Director of Lagos State Number Plate Production Authority, has been appointed Special Adviser to the Governor on Central Business District (CBD), to replace Mrs. Derin Disu who resigned recently.

Mr. Folarin-Coker’s appointment was announced by Mr. Hakeem Bello, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media.

Folarin-Coker was born on July 27, 1965, to Chief Folarin Coker, a lawyer, a former permanent secretary and Baba Eto of Lagos.

He attended St. Gregory’s College, Obalende, Lagos and University of Manchester, Manchester, United Kingdom, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree.  He also holds a post graduate diploma from Diplomatic Academy of Westminster, University of Lagos.

Mr. Folorunsho Folarin-Coker was first appointed deputy chief of staff to the governor between 1999 and 2005 and later the Managing Director, Lagos State Number Plate Production Authority from where he was appointed Special Adviser.

He was once married to Folake Folarin-Coker, the fashion designer who owned Tiffany Amber and now married to Aishat Folarin-Coker.
