Foluke Daramola surprises hubby with a lavish bash at 45

-It really caught me unawares’ – Kayode Salako

On Tuesday, April 4, 2017, Kayode Ezekiel Salako, a social crusader and husband of popular actress cum film maker,  Foluke Daramola-Salako, clocked 45. And the day which would have passed without anybody noticing actually blew beyond bounds as the latter surprisingly threw a lavish bash for her hubby, who hitherto had shelved plans to roll out the drums for this year’s celebration due to country’s economic situation.

When contacted on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, the birthday boy expressed deep surprise on the honour bestowed on him by his actress wife. He added that though, it really caught him unawares, it’s full of excitement.

“My birthday party was organised secretly at my back by my wife, Foluke. It really caught me unawares. I didn’t prepare for any celebration that day because I never expected it. Although, people came to pray for me in my house that morning, including pastors and Islamic clerics, and that’s all. Only to be driven by my wife to the venue she had arranged. I was highly amazed, seeing a lot of people gathered because of me. It’s indeed a big surprise. I really appreciate my wife for the initiative.

“Left to me, I had cancelled the initial plans to make any noise about my 45th birthday because of the country’s economic situation which is yet to bounce back. Not knowing, my wife had a plan to take me unawares. It’s, indeed, marvellous.”

The event which held at White House, Ikeja, Lagos was well attended by dignitaries from different spheres of life. Among those in attendance included, Joe Odumakin, Akeem Apatira, Funsho Adeolu, Femi Branch, Doris Simon, Funke Etti and others.
