Former NAFDAC Dg, Dora Akunyili passes on

Former Director General of NAFDAC and Minister of Information,Professor Dora Akunyili  is dead.

She passed on last night in an Indian hospital after a protracted illness.

Confirming this in an exclusive phone interview with Encomium Weekly, this morning (Saturday June 7), Dora Akunyili’s Media Consultant, Mr Isaac Umunna, said he would issue a press release later in the day.
Aged 59, the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) Professor of Pharmacology was a one-time guber and Senatorial aspirant in Anambra state.
