Four unidentified African children found on London street

Four unidentified African children from Democratic Republic of Congo were found on a London street on Thursday, October 1, 2015 by a stranger.

The children between the ages of 4 and 13, without any belongings, had a note which read, ‘Please, help these kids find their sister…’  They were taken to Haringey Council offices, Wood Green, North London, where a female judge, Judge Rachel Karp heard their case.

Judge Karp admitted they were brought into the council by a stranger who said he found them on a street and the children denied knowledge of their rescuer.

She said the last child should be taken into care and Haringey Council had started care proceedings concerning the four children.
