Kehinde Oloyede Almaroof, the estranged husband of A-list actress, Funke Akindele, has lost his father, Pa Morufu Ayanbola Oloyede.
The octogenarian died peacefully on Wednesday, July 14, 2015 and was buried at his New Oko-Oba, Agege, Lagos residence on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, according to Muslim rites.
Family members and a handful of friends of the son of the deceased were at hand during the burial.
The popular actress, Funke Akindele was, however, conspicuously absent at the burial. But whether she will be at the grand finale of the burial slated for Saturday, August 29, 2015, is what many are waiting for with bated breath.
Olufunke Ayotunde Akindele, a.k.a Jenifa, and Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, a real estate businessman got married on May 26, 2012, in a fairy tale wedding which Nollywood stars and glitterati were present.
But barely two years later, both went their different ways claiming irreconcilable differences.
This was two years ago. Today, after their separation, Funke is yet to be associated with any man, while Kendo, as Kehinde Oloyede is popularly called was said to have returned to his other wives.
Whether the two are still friends as they proclaimed during their separation would be seen during the August 29, 2015 final burial of Kendo’s father.
