Funke Moore redeployed as General Manager Lagos Television.

Mrs Funke Moore, the General Manager of Lagos Television, has been redeployed by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
According to a post on her Facebook account on Thursday, February 8, she announced she was redeployed on Wednesday, February 7, 2018.
Her words: ” I was redeployed from the service of Lagos State Broadcasting Corporation after 34 years of meritorious service. I thank His Excellence the governor of Lagos state, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode for the opportunity to serve as General Manager at both stations. I thank the staff for their support and cooperation.”
She also announced that she will be retiring from the public service sometime in December 2018, when she would have reached the mandatory 35 years of service.
Mrs Funke Moore joined the then Radio Lagos in 1983 at the age of 20 after her graduation from Nigeria Institute of Journalism.
She later went to Lagos State University, Ojo, for her first degree and University of Lagos, Akoka for her Masters degree in Literature in English.
A mother of two and grandmother of three, her daughter is a lawyer and her son a dentist plying his trade in Toronto, Canada.
