Deep sorrow and unspeakable sadness has pocketed the once vibrant Dr. Myles Monroe led Bahamas Faith Ministries International after the tragic death of its founder, Dr. Myles, wife, Ruth and other key personnel on Sunday, November 9,2014.

myles-munroeENCOMIUM Weekly reliably gathered that immediately the news broke that some of the church leaders were involved in the tragic plane crash at Grand Bahama International Airport without a survivor, the members of Munroe’s organization sobbed and wailed when they learned of the crash.

According to our source the pain became intense when they learnt the storm swept away all the key leaders who were the pillars of the ministries such as their President and Vice President, Dr. Myles Munroe and wife, Ruth. Dr. Richard Pinder, Senior Vice President,  Youth Pastor,  Lavard Parks and wife, Radel, who was pregnant and their son, Johannan Park.

We learnt that the son, Chairo (Myles Jr.) is not a pastor that could have continued where the father left off.  Thus, the church is at a cross roads about who will take over the mantle of leadership.

WHAT CAUSED THE CRASH?

A full investigation into the Lear jet crash on Sunday, November 9, 2014, began on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.

The country’s Transport and Aviation minister said an investigation into the crash began in full force on Tuesday.

“Heavy rain was buffeting the region when the Lear 36 Executive Jet struck a shipping container crane in Freeport as it tried to land”, Foreign Minister, Fred Mitchell said. Mitchell said that a commercial Bahamasair flight making the same route, from Nassau to Freeport, had turned back because it was unable to land around the same time as the flight carrying Rev. Myles Munroe and several members of his Bahamas Faith Ministries. However, Department of Civil Aviation said the investigators have recovered the plane’s cockpit voice recorder and digital electronic engine monitors.  They said there is no definite timeline on how long the analysis will take.

WHO OWNS THE MYSTERIOUS JET?

It is a Lear jet 360. We confirmed that it’s a hired jet registered in the United States.

On Wednesday, November 12, 2014, the late Munroe’s son, Chairo expressed sadness over the incident.

“We are not sure how or why, something like this would be allowed to happen to such great individuals, but still, God is in control. The past few days have been the most difficult times for my sister and I, my family and all of those affected by this loss.”

“We are all saddened by this tragic event, but we are comforted and encouraged by the outpouring of love and support from everyone around the country and those around the world at large,” said Munroe.

BURIAL PLANS

The family is still consulting over burial plans and as such no date has been fixed.

HIS WORTH

Late Munroe is adjudged a successful clergy who ran one of the wealthiest ministries in the world. He is Bishop Oyedepo’s closest friend and their teachings are patterned alike. People pay as much as $150 which is about N25,500 to watch per speaker on internet while live audiences pay more. All his books are a sell out and they don’t come cheap. He allegedly ran a N20 billion ministries.

According to a newspaper in Nairobi, Kenya, motivational speaker, author and evangelist, Dr Myles Munroe, who died on Sunday, November 9, 2014, in the Bahamas alongside his wife and daughter had a premonition of his death less than a month before it finally happened.

In an interview with Jeff Koinange on KTN’s JKL Show in Kenya on Friday, October 24, 2014, Myles Munroe allegedly told every Kenyan to be prepared for death.

Read what Munroe said about his death few weeks ago:

“I want to challenge every Kenyan to go to the cemetery and disappoint the graveyard. Die like the Apostle Paul who said I have finished my course, I have kept the faith and I have been poured out like a drink offering. There is nothing left. I am ready to die. That’s how I wanna die because there is nothing else for me left to die,’ he told the show’s host, Jeff Koinange. ‘When you die, die like I am planning to die.  Empty. It’s finished.”
