Gani Adams christens new baby girl Mariam

On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, all roads led to Yard 158, Oregun, Lagos, as national coordinator of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Otunba Gani Adams christened his new baby girl in grand style.
The event which which started early as scheduled was officiated by a group of clerics from islamic and christian faiths. Also, ‘traditional believers’ were not left out.
Among the dignitaries at the colourful naming were former Director General of Nigeria Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC), Sally Mbanefo, Dr Joe Oke Odumakin, Yomi Fas Lanso, MC Oluomo and others.
The new child, Marian is a look-alike of the OPC leader’s wife, Erelu Mojisola Adams who was also on hand to ensure all the guests were well attended to.
With the arrival of the baby on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, the joy in  the family of the Arigidi Akoko, Ondo born human rights activist, encomium.ng was informed, jumped higher as God has answered the couple’s prayer by blessing them with a beautiful girl this time around as their first fruit of the womb is a boy delivered sometimes in 2012.
Meanwhile, the elated father, Adams had earlier spoken to encomium.ng on the arrival of the girl which he said he was delighted and very grateful to God about.
