THE funeral service of Olatunji Adedeji Okusanya held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at St. John’s Church, Aroloya, Lagos. The service was attended by dignitaries including Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, Senator Remi Tinubu, Oba Adedeji Onagoruwa, the Alaye of Odogbolu, Major General Shina Ogunbiyi, to name a few. The service started at 10.00 a.m.
The service was organized by the second wife of Olatunji Adedeji Okusanya. After the service by 12.05 p.m, the body was conveyed in a car with close family and friends in a convoy. Trumpets were blown, drums were beaten as people danced around to celebrate the late Olatunji Adedeji Okusanya. The crowd was huge as they escorted the convoy to Ikoyi vault where the body was buried. The burial was only open to close family and friends.
Olatunji Adedeji Okusanya was the President of MIC Undertakers contracted to airlift the remains of late former governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Kokumo Agagu to Ondo State for a state burial. Late Okusanya was among the 15 casualties of the ill-fated Associated Airline plane that crashed on Thursday, October 3, 2013.
