George Clooney married his British lawyer fiancé, Amal Alamuddin in a grand ceremony in Venice, Italy yesterday (September 27), a representative has confirmed.
Clooney – dinner jacketed in an Armani suit – made a dramatic entrance at a Venice palace on the city’s Grand Canal, arriving on a motor launch flanked by around 20 other boats which had photographers, local police and cheering onlookers on board.
The ceremony was a beehive of celebrities as the likes of Bourne actor Matt Damon, Vogue editor Anna Wintour, model Cindy Crawford, actor Bill Murray, and singer Bono.
Model, Cindy Crawford’s husband, Rande Gerber is thought to have been best man on the day.
