Ghanaian-Nollywood actress, Georgina Oseimensah, simply addressed as Gina Mensa, who shuttles Ghana and Nigeria, is back in Ghana again after spending a couple of weeks shooting in Nigeria.
The gorgeous entertainer cum fashion designer, encomium.ng learnt, left for Ghana a couple of days back after her brief sojourn in Nigeria where she shot a couple of movies. She was also said to have won a couple of awards, including Ghana-Naija Achievers’ Award as Best Ghanaian-Nollywood Actress of the Year.
According to an industry source, Mensah is now working on something big in Ghana at the moment which has indicated her return to the country soon as she was through with the movie shoot in Owerri, Imo state, the real reason she has been in Nigeria since May.
“Gina has gone back to Ghana again. She shuttles Ghana and Nigeria, boosting her career. She has shot scores of movies in Nigeria and Ghana since January till date. She is one of the busiest actresses right now, especially in Nollywood. Some of her movies, including The Ride, Adulterous Solution and few others are out already. She gets scripts more often in Nigeria than even in Ghana now.”
When contacted on Friday, June 23, 2017, the talented role interpreter told encomium.ng that things are really getting better now at home and in Nigeria as her career keeps waxing stronger and stronger by the day.
“First, I need to give thanks to God over my career. There is no dull moment any more. I am constantly busy both in Ghana and Nigeria. Now, I am back in Ghana after having stayed for some weeks in Nigeria, moving from one movie location to the other. I just finished a shoot in Oweri, Imo state last week. And I have since returned to Ghana to continue work on the new business I am trying to venture into in addition to my career. That may be unveiled very soon. But as for now, I keep it to my chest alone.”
