Glo delights subscribers with Nigeria’s first Data Supermart

National operator, Globacom, on Wednesday showed why it is regarded as the most innovative telecommunications network with the launch of Nigeria’s first data supermart.

The new offering has the company’s wide range of data services in a one-size-fits-all package for the convenience of its data subscribers.

Called Glo Data Supermart, the offer has one easily memorable subscription code, *777#, and has all the super fast data offerings available on the Glo network.

In a statement released to the media in Lagos, Globacom said, “ we again want to reward our loyal customers by giving them more value for their money in a comforting and less stressful manner. That is why we are giving unbelievable value for all our data offerings to enable our subscribers to browse, download and surf the internet without any stress.”

With the Glo Data Supermart offering for a month, subscribers will get 1.5 GB of data with just N1,000 recharge and 3GB of data with N2,000 recharge. Similarly, they will receive  4.5GB with N2,500 recharge, 6GB with N3,000 recharge and 9GB with N4,000 recharge.

The Glo Data Supermart comes with the Booster plans which can replenish the data plans whenever a subscriber suddenly runs short of data. A N200 Booster recharge will give the user 300MB of data for a weekly or daily plan, while N500 worth of Booster gets the subscriber 1GB of data on the monthly plan.

Also as part of the offer, Glo subscribers will receive 3GB of data with only N500for the weekend plan called Thank Glo It’s Friday (TGIF). The subscriber can use the data from 12 a.m.on Saturday to5a.m.on Monday.  For the all night browsing plan, a Glo subscriber needs only N200 to get 1GB of data on the Data Supermart.

Globacom’s data offerings are supported by its robust telecommunications infrastructure which includes Nigeria’s most extensive 3G data network, nationwide optic fibre cable which stretches to thousands of kilometers and a 2.4 terabytes international armoured-submarine cable connecting Nigeria to Europe through 14 African countries with dedicated extension to the United States of America.
